The Mission

DeScent Odor’s goal is to offer a service that is safe, unique and innovative for a wide variety of clients to include auto dealers, homeowners, Realtors, buyers, sellers, and property management firms – just to name a few.  Our cutting-edge, proprietary formula chemically destroys odors at their source. The rising demand for home improvement projects for the purpose of increasing property values and sales, I believe, makes our product a necessity rather than an optional service.  We can all agree that the first thing a prospective buyer will notice is smell. No matter how appealing a floor plan with all the creature features, if there is an offensive odor, it will kill the sale! It is our mission to eliminate this obstacle from the equation.

The Inception

DeScent Odor was conceived while visiting friends and family.  Our friends found their dream home, with a perfect location and all the amenities they could ever want.  However, the owner was a smoker and had pets – which was undeniable the moment we crossed the threshold.  The owner had attempted to cover up, conceal and eliminate the odors with cleaning solutions, paint and carpet cleaning.  Although these products reduced the strength of the odor, it was still powerful the moment you entered the home. My friends, needless to say, walked away from the sale!  This was my “AHA” moment. This sale could have easily been salvaged if there had been a product to completely eliminate – not just mask – the odor.

The quest to find a solution to this prevalent problem began.  Many products I saw were for fire/smoke damage and mold/mildew removal and there were companies already out there providing these services.  I wanted a product for every day, hard-to-remove odors such as those which come from pets, cigarettes, and foods like curry and oils from fried foods.  I found solutions like “ionizers” and ozone machines, but these are very expensive and only clean the air contained within the home or automobile.

The Solution

After two years of “research and Development”, we launched DeScent Odor!  We have developed a service that addresses odors at the source and chemically destroys them.  All of our products are FDA-approved, non-toxic, and safe for pets and people. As I mentioned before, we believe our service is a necessity rather than an option, and once you try it for yourself, we know you’ll agree.

I am proud of what we as a team have accomplished in the past couple of years.  We are committed to doing even more in 2019 and beyond. We live our best lives by helping others to live theirs.  We invite you to join us in this significant effort!
